Skip Torresson is founder and President of The Stewardship Group. He is an accomplished Management Consultant and Executive Coach with more than thirty years experience in business. Following a successful career where he held senior leadership and sales management positions with Unisys, Hitachi Data Systems, ITEL Corporation and IBM, he founded The Stewardship Group in 2002.
Through the end of 2006, The Stewardship Group has delivered significant leadership and infrastructure solutions to more than thirty organizations across multiple industries and geographies. Clients are exclusively CEO’s, Managing Directors, and their senior leadership teams. The Stewardship Group implements an innovative leadership process, which greatly improves planning, alignment, communication, and accountability.
Most clients embrace the Servant Leader philosophy. They focus on meeting the needs of stakeholders, developing employees to their full potential, and recognize an obligation to give back to the community. The Groups diversified clients include school districts that have achieved national and state recognition, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, global suppliers of imaging technology, universities, discrete manufacturers and distributors. Business clients are privately held with sales in the $50-$500 Million range. Many operate globally and work with The Stewardship Group to implement a seamless leadership solution that integrates global operations. Approximately one third of the clients are not-for-profit organizations. Skip lives in Broomall, PA with his wife Joann. They have five children and eighteen grandchildren. He takes an active role in the community, serves on several non-profit boards and is a member of Rotary International. He is a 1967 graduate of the University of Scranton and a veteran.
