“Finding Diamonds in the Rough”
Chief Investment Officer of Versa Capital Management
For more than 20 years, Paul Halpern and his colleagues have seen value where others have not. Paul and his firm, Versa Capital Management, invest in companies which have underperformed and are often in out of favor industries. Through strategic, operational, financial and management changes, the firm has repeatedly improved performance, achieving strong returns for its investors.
Paul will discuss Versa’s investment philosophy, target criteria, operational approach and lessons learned from more than two decades of acquiring underperforming companies. A frequent speaker on private equity and investing in distressed companies, we anticipate a true insider’s view.
This is a joint meeting with GPSEG’s Financial and Operations Executives subgroups. Members interested in attending are encouraged to register shortly.
