Change Fatigue

With Dr. Greg Shea, The Wharton School

June 17, 2015

7:30-10 am at the Philadelphia Country Club

Everyone can feel it.  People are getting exhausted from having to deal with constant change and increased demands. But, what can you do to minimize and manage change fatigue in yourselves and others?

Greg Shea, an Adjunct Professor at the Wharton School and co-author of several books including Your Job Survival Guide: A Manual for Thriving in Change, will lead a discussion on:

·         The major causes of change fatigue

·         How to pace yourself and others (direct reports, clients)  to minimize change fatigue

·         How to implement change in such a way as to minimize change fatigue

·         How to develop a useful mindset for dealing with a world of constant change

·         Techniques for handling one’s self and leading others

Greg will share his experiences and stories gathered from over 30 years of experience leading major change efforts.

Greg Shea, Ph.D., consults, teaches, researches, and writes in the areas of organizational and individual change, leadership, group effectiveness, and conflict resolution. He is Adjunct Professor of Management at the Wharton School and of its Aresty Institute of Executive Education, Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the Wharton School, and a Faculty Associate of the Wharton School’s Center for Leadership and Change.
