GPSEG Announces New Executive Director - Diane James
Diane is a very experienced association executive with a track record of success leading organizations that have grown and prospered. She is a dynamic non-profit executive with an impressive background leading a variety of associations, helping them implement their strategic vision, develop strong and deep leadership teams, engage volunteers and form lasting alliances.
Diane served as the Executive Director and CEO of the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) in Washington, DC, from 2006 -- 2009 and as the CEO of the WTS Foundation in 2010. Prior to that time, she served as the Executive Director of the Jacob's Institute of Women's Health, as the Executive Director of Women in Cable and Telecommunications and as Vice President of the American Society of Association Executives. Most recently, she has been serving as an independent consultant with Association Strategies, Inc., a leading executive search firm, placing chief executives in professional and trade associations and non-profit organizations. She is a Certified Association Executive and a graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA.
