PHILADELPHIA — GPSEG will host its Eighth Annual Golf Outing on Monday, May 9 at Radley Run Country Club.
Proceeds from the event will go toward a scholarship fund at Temple University honoring Constantine “Chris” Pavlides, the GPSEG founder who died in 2009 in a car accident. Pavlides was an associate professor of entrepreneurship at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
While not a golfer himself, Pavlides was a strong supporter of the annual golf outing because it tied into GPSEG’s core message of “Networking for Life.” Past golf outings have drawn nearly 100 members, although registration is capped at 100 this year.
There will be prizes for multiple events including men's and ladies contests, as well as three team prizes. Food and refreshments will be provided on the course with a box lunch. A networking reception is slated after the event, followed by a buffet dinner and cash bar during the awards ceremony.
Event sponsors include BizTech, Booz & Co., Ernst & Young, Electronic Ink, North Highland. Microsoft, Kaplan|Stewart, H & S Business Services, Fast Signs of Pottstown, Brandywine Global Management, Vienna Human Capital LLC and DGK Group CPAs.
