GPSEG announces board of directors expansion with six new members

Long-time members elected to board that expands from 10 to 12

PHILADELPHIA — The Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group (GPSEG) Board of Directors announced today the election of six longtime members to terms as at-large board members.

 

Those new members are: Tom Aiken, Dorothy Stubblebine, Rip Tilden and Tony Wojciechowski, all for three-year terms; Richard Marcus for a two-year-term; and Tom Schultz for a one-year term.

 

“GPSEG has experienced substantial growth in recent years and the new board members will help provide a fresh perspective as our organization evolves,” GPSEG Chairman Syd Weinstein said. “I’m sure our new leadership will help that that GPSEG remains the region’s premiere executive networking organization.”

A resident of Furlong, Aiken is a principal/business development consultant for DGK Group, P.C. of Plymouth Meeting, a professional accounting services firm, where he was recruited to expand business development and provide CFO services to clients. He previously was senior vice president/chief financial officer, secretary at Prescient Applied Intelligence, Inc. of West Chester.

 

Aiken co-chairs the GPSEG Financial Executives Subgroup. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, the New Jersey Technology Council, The Financial Executives Networking Group and the Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures, where he is an advisory board member.

 

A resident of West Deptford, N.J., Stubblebine is a managing principal at DJS Associates, Inc. of Abington, where she consults with senior management in a wide range of strategic activities. She previously was the vice president of human resources for the generic division of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Cherry Hill, N.J.

 

Stubblebine chairs GPSEG’s Membership Committee and also is the executive coach for the Rutgers Family Business Institute. She is past president and current member of the Rowan University Alumni Association and serves as the vice-chair of the Business Advisory Board. She serves on the ANSI Standards Committee for the Society for Human Resource Management.

 

A resident of Malvern, Tilden is a partner at Markarios Consulting, LLC in Downingtown and is the practice team leader for the company’s strategy and executive practices. He is actively engaged in coaching leaders in business, higher education and athletics. He previously led a multi-million dollar fitness and wellness business in West Chester.

 

Tilden is vice chairman of GPSEG’s CIO Roundtable. He also is president of the Berwyn Fire Co, vice chair of the board of the YMCA of the Upper Main Line and is a member of the board of the Mid-Atlantic Employers Association.

 

A resident of Laurel Springs, N.J., Wojciechowski has worked with commercial, higher education and government organizations to improve their understanding adoption and use of technology. His career includes substantial time as an information technology professional, as well as a sales and marketing leader.

 

Wojciechowski is the co-chair of GPSEG’s N.J. Chapter and also chairs the New Member Orientation Committee. He is an adjunct professor in Temple University’s MBA program and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

 

A resident of Penn Valley, Marcus is a licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of professional experience, including the last 20 years working with senior-level executives. He has maintained an independent business psychology consulting practice for the past nine years, after previously working as a senior-level consultant for Manchester, Inc.

 

Marcus formerly chaired GPSEG’s Human Capital Management Subgroup. He serves on the executive board of the Philadelphia Human Resources Planning Society and co-chairs that organization’s Executive Coaching Special Interest Group and its Mainline Local Area Network. He also serves on the board of the Pathway School in Eagleville.

 

A resident of Lambertville, N.J., Schultz is a client acquisition and project manager with Baker Street Solutions, where he works in new initiatives and consumer products. He previously worked for SCULPZ/HCI Direct, Inc. in Trevose as a vice president for an interim/turn-around team.

 

Schultz is a member of GPSEG’s Sponsorship Committee. He is member of the board of advisors to the QED Program at The City University Science Center in Philadelphia and a member of the board of directors of The DaVinci Schools as part of the Los Angeles County Charter School Initiative. He is a member of the American Chemical Society, Product Development & Manufacturers Association, Front End of Innovation and the Personal Care Products Council.
